Race Points

At character creation, all players must select a Race. This race has a certain number of Race Points. If that number is less than 4, the character also receives bonus Feats and Powers at character creation.

Note that, in addition to any bonus feats and powers, all characters receive 1 feat and power per level.

It is possible for a race to cost more than 4 race points. It is desirable to design such races so that the base cost is no more than 4, and any additional powers can be purchased later, but in some cases, it is not practical. If a race's point cost is higher than 4, you must begin play at higher level; for example, a race costing 8 points can only begin at level 4.
